BOOK STUDY: CHRIS TOVANI'S DO I REALLY HAVE TO TEACH READING?
Wednesday, November 30, 2005
4:15-5:45 PM
Offices of Parkland Teachers' Local 10
Here's an opportunity to sit down and have a discussion with peers about a book that will help you teach reading comprehension across the curriculum. We'll be reading and discussing Chris Tovani's Do I Really Have to Teach Reading? The study group will be helpful for teachers of Science and Social Studies — and Language Arts, too. This book will show you how to help students understand the content of their textbooks. Two additional dates of discussion will be selected by participants, and the book is free to participants! To register or to request more information, please call 963-5898.
