Strike Photos 11

Many events have taken place as we pass day 12 of our job action, but the support of other locals, teachers, parents and the public remains strong.
President Lorne Maier of Park Plains East Local 51 and his visiting Brazilian exchange student bring their support to Parkland teachers. Our teachers wear our sticker with pride. Retired former Parkland Local President, Irl Miller, drops by to offer his support.
District Representatives Harold Neff and Mary Dunnigan visit strike headquarters. We receive support and encouragement from our nearest Local neighbors, President Laurette Nelson and Treasurer Cindy Escott of Evergreen Catholic Local 44. The retired Bev and Jim Orieux want us to know they are behind us in our endeavour.
