In December, 2007, Parkland Teachers' Local 10 established a Strike Office in the Meridian Village Mall in Stony Plain. It opened on February 16 and was staffed from 9:00 to 5:00 school days until March 19th - the duration of our 21 day strike.  The office is now closed.

This office served members of the Local and members of public. The Mall features Stony Plain’s IGA and a dozen or more small retail operators as well as a local dance studio.

The Strike Office was located at 4401 – 48^th Street, directly north of the PSD 70 school district office.

Our office occupied the former TD Bank in the mall and had been outfitted with suitable signage featuring the importance of public education.
